CECOCAFEN is a cooperative organization that counts with more than 2000 small farmers and producers affiliated in 11 cooperative societies, in Matagalpa region. The culture of coffee has a long existence in the departments of Matagalpa and Jinotega, going back in the middle of the 19th century. The tropical humid climate of the region, the rich soil of volcanic origin and the exuberant vegetation, they contribute to the exclusive flavor of a coffee with international reputation.
