Citty coffee is a campaign directed to citizens, associations, public entities and stores in every city. It aims to encourage awareness of the more responsible coffee consumption, knowing the origin and the conditions under which it has been produced.
The proposed Citty Coffee will work in an environment of partnership commitment to generate a link between the production of coffee, its origin and its consumption in the locality. In this way, citizens will know directly the best living conditions of farmers who have cultivated it and also the respect for the environment in their country of origin.
This proposal within the framework of the Ethical Public Purchase and the first city fair trade coffee in Spain, presents to the public the goals of Agenda 21 adopted in the United Nations Assembly in 1992, aiming to put these operational objectives at the local level, in order to give the possibility to individually act responsibly in consumption.
