For Alternativa3 is very important to establish long-term purchase contracts to ensure the continuity of projects.

We pre-finance the purchase of raw materials and / or wages for the production.

The profits are used to support new products, through various forms of financing and a wide distribution network.

We also provide as much information on the situation of producers, projects and countries with which we work to create a critical consciousness in relations with developing countries and strengthen cooperation with them.

Fair Trade products sale is done through various outlets, especially Fair Trade shops, support groups and NGOs and other shops and collectives aware of cooperation for the development of the disadvantaged.

We also support other initiatives for alternative economy, outstanding the Ethical Banking. Alternativa3 has actively promoted Social Responsible Investment (SRI).

Since 1993 we work with Oikocredit, development organization that funds cooperatives, microfinance institutions and viable entrepreneurs with projects in various economic sectors in 31 countries of Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe. These are viable projects that are excluded from conventional financial circuit.

Recently we have continued commitment with SRI being partners of FETS (Ethical and Solidarity Funds), which includes companies and institutions with the aim of promoting Ethical Banking in Catalonia and Spain.
