Bombolulu
The organization, which was established in 1969 in Mombasa, was named "Bombolulu Workshops for the Handicapped". Although it had to overcome many obstacles in its process, because of the "Association for the Physically Disabled of Kenya" (APDK) support the project was a total success. There are currently four workshops in which 160 physically handicapped people are employed. Its main line production are imitation jewellery, textile, wood and fur. Its products are sold in national markets as well as in international ones, and exported to 22 different countries around the world.
