An attractive oasis in the middle of the jungle
This place full of local color was conceived as a destination for the Moravia mission in 1965. At this precise moment, the city consists of an old church, a store, a row of houses with straw roofs and a street in which water flows. A beautiful place with a huge production activity able to surprise any visitor.
About the Rooibos Wupperthal Cooperative
This
cooperative was founded in August 3th, 2009 and consists of 84 members who work in the production of Rooibos since 1998. Rooibos is the only source of income. Currently , some members have started working in organic plants to complement the incomes.
Its members work as a team and support each other for the development of the cooperative, the flairs and marketing that they carry out under its own brand. They are also members of the “Trust Organic Small Farmers”.
