EDM is working since 1974, with help of the Department of Social Services of the Government of Bangladesh. This program is dedicated topeople who live in rural areas. EDM Crafts is one of several projects that EDM develops, it is an autosustainable program of exports orientated to the crafts, which involves directly 1700 craftsmen's families, that means approximately 7500 persons.
