WSDP - Women skill development Pokhara
WSDP - Women skill development Pokhara

WSDP was founded in 1975, with the help of the government, to teach the women weaving techniques. This project was dedicated principally to poor and illiterate women, for them to be able to find work. With the arrival of the democracy to India, Ramkali Khadka and three companions invested in turning the project into an NGO that could survive by themselves

WSDP has grown from 16 persons in the beginning of 1990 up to more than 200 nowadays.
