Their crafts are produced in the "Golden Palm Crafts Production Center", in the village of Gampaha. These productive facilities were established in 1995, as response to the rapid increase in the demand of products and the difficulties of the producers to produce the big quantities demanded by the importers of Fair Trade. These investment increased the productive capacity and allowed the growth of their market.
