Green Net is a Thai NGO based in Bangkok that has been compromising during more than ten years in the initiation and expansion of the first project of Fair Trade rice. Their principal aim is guarantee to the peasants prices that assure that their basic needs are covered, so that they can live better thanks to their own work, and that they do not need to leave their lands toward the city suburbs when they do not have a work at the farms.
