Thai Payap Development Association is an organization formed with the economic support of different NGOs, such as Caritas or Friedrich Elbert Foundation, in 1985. It devotes itself to the integration of ethnic minorities in the north of Thailand.

 

The confection of crafts represents a hope for these communities and at present more than 1.000 families benefit from the work that provides the sale to the Fair Trade organizations, including a whole of 31 villages of the minorities Hmong (in Miao), Mien (Yao), T'ai Leu and in Htin's mountains.
