Organic Farming Tatamá is an organisation devoted to the promotion, marketing and development of crops, enphasizing the organic coffee, based on the cooperation and continuous training of their associated members, ensuring an indepented and sustainable growth, feasible economically, respectful ecologically and healthful, and socially fair for its members.
It is located in the municipality of Apía Risaralda (Colombia), next to the 'Tatamá' Natural Park. It was founded on year 1998, although already on year 1995 they were working in order to achieve the organic certification. Currently it is constituted by around 550 farmers, who work on a total of 1256 Hectares, being their total production 1400 tons the expected production for each crop.
